Why we dedicate ourselves to just one recipe.

Most commercial sweets brands produce dozens of generic factory cookies. In that race for mass production, true artisanal craftsmanship gets replaced by artificial flavorings, palm oil, and machines.

At Dhritika, we chose to do one thing with perfection: an honest Desi Ghee Gud Thekua. Handcrafted in Lucknow using carved wooden molds and slow low-flame frying in desi ghee.

1. Hand-Pressed

Each piece is individually pressed onto carved wooden molds (sancha) to shape traditional leaf motifs.

2. Slow Ghee Frying

Fried slowly on gentle low heat in desi ghee until deeply cooked and flaky.

3. Zip Lock Pouch

Sealed in an airtight plastic zip lock pack to protect crunch and aroma from humidity.
